David Sean earned his PhD in computational Bio-Physics at the University of Ottawa for his work on DNA translocation. He spent some time in Stuttgart Germany as a postdoc at the Institute for Computational Physics working on, amongst other things, the open-source simulation package ESPResSO. He tinkers with everything he can get his hands on, especially all things cooking and music production. If he's not hacking his rice cooker, you'll find him busy working on a microscope.
Sebastian acquired his MSc in neuroscience from Kings College London and his Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Ottawa. He's driven by how democratizing cell biology will drive the next generation of discoveries. He's also an avid ultra-long distance cyclist.
Mark has been involved with start-up stage companies for the past 21 years, including his past role as Co-Founder and President of Spartan BioScience. His 38 years of global business experience has spanned launching back-of-the-napkin start-ups to working in senior executive roles.
Noah earned his degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Acadia University. At Acadia, Noah spent his time studying entrepreneurship models and theories such as design thinking and lean startup, and practicing them through the launch and operation of his own digital marketing agency, Creative Tide. In his spare time you can find him sipping a dark roast with a guitar in hand.
Bobby has been engaged with entrepreneurship since the start of his career at the University of Ottawa. Through the RBC Entrepreneurship Program, Bobby leveraged his skills in marketing, digital design, and photography to help develop our team's business. On his free time, Bobby contributes time and effort to his business student association, Conseil Étudiant Telfer Student Council, while also participating in case competitions across Canada.
Paul is approaching the end of his degree in computer science at the University of Ottawa. His interest in technology stems from his continuous desire for innovation, which drew him towards entrepreneurship. In his free time, Paul enjoys playing the guitar, writing music and rock climbing.
